To begin with: the structure itself. Over 50,000 hand-made bricks imported from Germany. Five stories, ten levels, a elevator, as well as an actual dungeon, total 7,500 square feet of high-quality, architectural craftsmanship.
A factory was in place inside the castle for 12 years producing all the Golden Oak molding, cabinets and carvings. Master artisanship with architectural barrel ceilings is a cedar wood masterpiece.
With the structure complete: the interior. Two fireplaces, one of hand-carved golden oak and one of German brick. Golden oak molding, cabinets, and carvings throughout to give an air of refined, European elegance. Tile and marble finishings from Italy, along with hand-crafted Venetian medallions. Light fixtures of the highest quality, over 100, from France and Italy, with hand-blown Murano glass inserts.
With breathtaking expansive coastal ocean views of Morro Bay and Morro Rock. .One can see 30 miles up the coast clear to Hearst Castle and the backyard to the National forest preserve "Montana de Oro."
